Previous experience of finance and business accounting is essential, with or without a financial qualification.
Charity board experience is desirable but not as important a desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of young people.
A DBS check is required for this role.
A full induction will be provided.
Trustees are encouraged to attend board meetings 6 times per year on Mondays, which alternate between 9.15am and 5pm.
In addition to board meetings, there are various working groups, one of which is the finance group. The treasurer would normally chair this meeting which is in person or online.
