Can You Stay:UP for Homeless Young People?
8th September 2020
As we can’t run a Sleep Out this year due to the pandemic, we are taking part in the Stay:UP campaign. On 8th of October we are asking people to raise money by taking part in a sponsored ‘stay up’ between 8pm and 8am. The event is in partnership with Centrepoint, who will be providing lots of online content through the night.
If this is something you would like to take part in, you can sign up here: https://www.totalgiving.co.uk/appeal/StayUp
Every penny raised will go to supporting young people in crisis:
£5 will buy fresh fruit and veg
£10 could pay for travel to an appointment
£20 will top up a young person’s gas and electric
£50 can go towards some second-hand fridge.
£100 could buy a reconditioned washing machine.
£500 would hire a coach for a day trip – some of our clients have never been to the beach.
£1,000 would pay for a counsellor one day a week for 6 months.
Go on… this could be the slumber party of the year!
